The 2025 -2026 Ministry Year
Our mission
I.G.N.I.T.E. High School Ministry provides a space where teens can encounter God and delve deeper into their faith. We strive to create safe spaces for discussion and bonding, allowing participants to be themselves without fear of judgement and with guidance from real life adult role models of our Faith.
Each session varies from dealing with current issues to bonding activities to discussions about what it means to be a Catholic in this day and age. We connect everything to our Faith through fun activities, leader-lead testimonies, and group discussions. Our year culminates in the annual DIOCESAN YOUTH RETREAT, which is a prayer-filled experience that further deepens their faith and connects them to the Church at large.
Our Vision
At the end of each year, we hope that each participant becomes more mindful of how God reveals Himself in their lives. We hope to ignite the fire of Faith in their hearts and to join Pope Francis in his march for living hope. Like our patron, we hope to instill in our I.G.N.I.T.E. teens the habit of preaching the Gospel through their actions and interactions with others.
This program will serve as a way to engage our young people in the community at large through living out the four marks of the Church: one, holy, catholic, and apostolic.
